  • Finish: Natural cast iron (season before use)

⚠️ IMPORTANT – INSTALLATION & HEAT DISSIPATION NOTICE

Cast iron retains significantly more heat than stainless steel grills. Correct spacing and airflow are critical to prevent excessive heat build-up under the cooking surface.

Failure to follow the recommendations below may cause internal BBQ damage, which is considered user misuse and not covered under warranty.

🔥 Bull 611U – 8 Burner / Bull 601U - 7 Burner

  • You may replace one (1) stainless steel grill with this 450mm x 300mm cast iron hot plate

  • At least one stainless steel grill must remain installed at all times to allow proper heat dissipation

If you wish to replace both stainless steel grills and run only hot plates:

  • We recommend using three (3) cast iron hot plates (450mm x 300mm)

  • This configuration ensures correct airflow and safe heat dissipation across the full cooking area

🔥 Bull 411U – 6 Burner /Bull 401U - 5 Burner

  • If replacing the 450mm x 300mm stainless steel grill with a cast iron hot plate:

    • We recommend using a smaller hot plate instead of a large 450mm x 300mm plate

  • This ensures adequate heat dissipation and prevents excessive heat accumulation beneath the hot plate

❗ Why This Is Important

Cast iron:

  • Holds heat longer than stainless steel

  • Restricts airflow if installed without clearance

  • Can cause burner, hood, or internal component damage if misconfigured

Always allow sufficient open space or grill sections for heat to escape safely.

🧼 Care & Maintenance

  • Season before first use

  • Clean after cooking and lightly oil to prevent rust

  • Store dry when not in use

If you’re unsure which configuration is best for your Bull BBQ, please contact our team before purchasing — we’re happy to help you set it up correctly, safely, and for long-term performance.
